The perfect spot for a quick visit while exploring the nearby Bodleian Library and the Covered Market. I really appreciated the cozy atmosphere of the room, which felt freshly decorated and inviting. The polite greeting from the staff upon arrival made a good first impression. Despite some functional issues, the overall charm and cleanliness shone through during my stay.

First floor room lacked sufficient storage and was not soundproof. Shower and toilet shared a tight space without separation. Dirty carpets and walls, with a mouldy bathroom that compromises hygiene, and a broken bedside lamp.

smelly room

poor shower

the shower was absolutely dreadful, no curtain or cubical meant everything got drenched. and the smell in the room resembled a homeless hostel, charming! i mean, where was my complimentary bottle of wine for putting up with this? it’s not like i’m some regular guest. i almost pushed for a good review but just couldn’t.

The rooms were super clean and had all the tea and coffee you need! ! Parking was right out front, making it easy to drop off bags before exploring. Plus, the bus service nearby was a nice bonus for getting around town.
